President / Partner
As President of Innovative Floor Systems, Alex leads with a hands-on approach and a deep commitment to quality, teamwork, and integrity. Having been part of the resinous flooring industry since 2009, she brings a unique perspective shaped by experience on both sides of the table — as a contractor and as part of a resinous flooring manufacturer. This background gives Alex a strong understanding of client pain points, project challenges, and the level of service required to exceed expectations. As part of the second generation of IFS, Alex takes immense pride in the success of each project and the reputation that follows. She oversees all aspects of company operations — from business development, sales and estimating to accounting, project execution and client relationships — ensuring every floor reflects the craftsmanship and reliability that define the IFS name. Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing pickleball, pretending to be a foodie with her husband, and standing on the sidelines cheering on her three sons.
Mark Mavris
Vice President / Partner
As Vice President of Innovative Floor Systems, Mark oversees the sales team, project management, and field operations, working collaboratively to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver exceptional results. Under Mark's leadership, IFS continues to expand its presence across industries ranging from industrial manufacturing and fire stations to food service, education, and retail environments. Mark fosters a culture of accountability and teamwork — empowering employees to take ownership of their roles while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. With over 15 years of experience, Mark is a second-generation partner known for a hands-on leadership style and a deep respect for the hard work that happens in the field. Mark is instrumental in running the business as a cohesive, reliable, and forward-thinking operation — one that takes pride in every floor we install. In Mark's free time he enjoys hanging with his wife and two daughters, and DJing locally.
Kelsey Schanberger
Estimator / Project Manager
Kelsey combines industry experience with a sharp eye for detail, bringing both precision and teamwork to every project she takes on. She collaborates closely with clients, general contractors, and the IFS installation team to develop cost-effective solutions that align with client expectations, schedules, and budgets.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing pool, traveling to new cities, and hunting for unique finds at the thrift shop. Whether in business, competition, or the search for hidden gems, Kelsey is always focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
Michelle LaFourcade
Office Manager / Project Coordinator
With 17 years of experience in the commercial flooring industry, Michelle LaFourcade brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her dual role as Office Manager and Project Coordinator. She oversees daily administrative functions, facilitates communication across departments, and ensures internal processes run efficiently and smoothly.
As a Project Coordinator, Michelle supports project execution from start to finish by managing documentation, tracking schedules, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help streamline workflows and keep projects on track. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys playing pool and spending quality time with her husband and their four children.

Superintendent / Assistant Project Manager
With over 20 years of experience in the resinous flooring industry, Josh is a dedicated and proficient professional who has developed an extensive knowledge of coatings and project management. His deep expertise and hands-on approach have helped him deliver exceptional results throughout his career. Known for his commitment to excellence, Josh consistently demonstrates a high level of skill and attention to detail in all projects.
Josh works hand in hand with all departments to ensure accuracy in estimating, on-time project delivery, and customer satisfaction. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two beautiful daughters and unwinding on the golf course, where he continues to nurture his passion for the game.
